Eileen W. Rinkerman, 86, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 holding the hands of her family. Born in New Castle, PA on December 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Frances Cameron Welker.

Eileen took on her role of homemaker with enthusiasm and great care for those she loved. She was an accomplished seamstress, knitter and crocheter. Eileen enjoyed cooking for a crowd, gathering her family and friends together, gardening and canning. She was an avid reader and loved her crossword puzzles.

Eileen was a devoted and loving wife to her husband of 67 years, Charles J. Rinkerman; best friend to her daughter, Charlene R. Conolly and son-in-law, John S. Conolly, all of Elkton, MD.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by many beloved Rinkerman in-laws who welcomed her into their family.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park.
