Edith May Clugston, age 91, of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Born in Haddonfield, NJ, on March 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel Bakley Mayberry.

Mrs. Clugston retired after many years of working as a seamstress for W.L. Gore and previously Nanettes. A former member of North East Faith Tabernacle Church, she enjoyed reading and bird watching.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen Clugston (Linda), Chesapeake City, MD, and Glen Clugston (Betty), Elkton, MD; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Franklin Clugston; and siblings, Margaret Randall, John, Jr., William, Richard, Robert, and George Mayberry.

Funeral service with interment in Bethel Cemetery will be private.
