Douglas Wesley Phillips, age 58, of Townsend, DE, passed away in his sleep, December 17, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE, on November 22, 1964, he was the son of the late William E. and Betty J. Phillips.

Doug was a painter by trade and worked at several companies over the years. He loved fishing and would have lived on a boat if he could have.

Survivors include his son, Douglas; sisters, Betty Burnett (Curt), and Debbie Dutton (John); brother, Bill Phillips (Donna); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his son, Jason S. Phillips.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Elkton. Interment will be private.
