Doris Lee Welch, age 86, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. Born in Mountain City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ursel and Hallie Lewis Potter.

Mrs. Welch was a loving homemaker that enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved shopping, outings, cooking, and maintaining her home.

Survivors include her son, Michael W. Welch (Irene), Elkton, MD; grandson, Matthew Welch, Elkton, MD; and brother, Robert Potter, Tampa, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert W. Welch; and two brothers, Lewis Potter and Wallace Potter.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
