Donna Wilson Altemus, 55, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on August 8, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Rosalie (Markow) Wilson.

Donna served as a Conference Services Manager at Delaware Technical Community College for over 30 years, playing an instrumental role in organizing countless events. She enjoyed spending time boating in Maryland, gardening, and walks with her beloved dog, Lucy.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Wilson (Amanda), Chesapeake City, MD; granddaughters, Ava and Mia; siblings, Connie Leuze (Jim), Wilmington, DE, Debbie Connell (Al), and Bill Wilson (Kathie), both of Earleville, MD; sister-in-law, Mary Wilson, Clayton, DE; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Wilson.

Celebration of Life will be held from 3 PM – 6 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Chesapeake City Memorial VFW Post 7687, 304 Basil Avenue, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. Interment will be private.
