Diane Houle Jones, age 76, of Newark, DE, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. Born in Amityville, NY, on August 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Bowerman Bowen and William Houle.

A member of NHPCO, CAPC, and Opus Peace, Mrs. Jones retired after many years of working as a social worker for hospice and palliative care patients. She was a wonderful cook and baker, loved gardening, and enjoyed going for walks in the woods, and traveling with her husband. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ryszard Zalewski; children, Greg Jones (Judy), Gouldsboro, PA, Shelley Consiglio (Bill), Elkton, MD, and Peter Zalewski (Kristin), Brooklyn, NY; siblings, Bobbi Karpinski, San Diego, CA, and Scott Houle, Ashville, NC; 6 granddaughters, and 3 grandsons.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
