Debra "Debbie" Sue Stanley, 67, of Elkton, MD, passed away, Monday, December 19, 2022. Born in Chestertown, MD, on July 13, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Gladys Hignutt Tribbitt.

Debbie was a stay-at-home mom and aunt during the 80s, worked in the local restaurant industry, and took on her favorite role as stay-at-home-grandmom in 2001. Debbie loved a good laugh, sunshine, and writing poetry. She was a magician in reviving plants and never forgot to send a birthday card. Debbie missed spending time with her sister, Bessie "Connie" Tribbitt, who she will join in heaven. She will also be reunited with her parents, Ernest and Gladys (Hignutt) Tribbitt, and infant daughter, Brenda Joann.

Debbie will be remembered by her daughter, Carrie-Anne Stanley (shared with former husband Kerry Stanley); cherished grandson, Jayden Clark; niece, Dawn Hazlett (Kevin) Horsey; nephew, Jordan (Samantha) Tribbitt; sister, Joan Jenkins; close friends, Brenda Short, Belinda "BB", and Daniel Avila, and numerous other living relatives, close friends, and family pets.
