Deborah Sue Ruley, 71, of Lewes, DE passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Born in Centerville, TN on November 9, 1952, she was the daughter of Mary Stroud Hassel, Rising Sun, MD, and the late Edward Hassel.

Deborah had worked as a quality control specialist at W.L. Gore & Associates, and later retired with over 30 years of employment.

Survivors include her children, Douglas Ruley Jr. (Lisa), Selbyville, DE, and Nicole Ruley, Lewes, DE; grandchildren, Emma Ruley and Chase Ruley; and sister, Peggy Barrow (Mike), Elkton, MD.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Ruley Sr.
