Deborah Denise Durkee, 60, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024. Born in Mannington, NJ on April 20, 1964, she was the daughter of Thomas Strong, Sr., Egg Harbor Township, NJ, and Patricia Price Strong, Saint Johns, FL.

Debbie was raised in Pennsville, NJ, but later made her home in Maryland, where she lived out her life surrounded by the love of family and friends. From an early age, she developed a deep love for horses, music, and motorcycles. Her enthusiasm for life was evident in her love for singing out loud, with "her girl", Stevie Nicks, her favorite musical artist. Deb had a remarkable ability to make anyone feel like a friend, she truly "never met a stranger", and had an unparalleled gift for brightening someone's day. Her humor and laughter were boundless, and her infectious smile was a beacon of light to all who knew her and will never be forgotten.

Survivors include her sons, Shawn Adams, Sr. (Samantha), and Michael Durkee, both of North East, MD; grandchildren, Hailee Adams and Shawn Adams, Jr.; and siblings, Thomas Strong, Jr. (Katherine), Pennsville, NJ, and Joseph Strong, Saint Johns, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Peardon.

All services will be private.
