Debbie Ann Thomas, 68, of Dagsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Born in Wilmington, DE on August 7, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Meredith B. Thomas, Jr. and Shirley Ross Wagner.

A graduate of Delcastle Technical High School, Ms. Thomas went on to serve in the National Guard and then made a career for herself as a machine operator in the steel, transportation, and service industries. She was blessed with knowing lifelong friends and kept in contact with them regularly. She loved watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers and listening to country music or anything by Stevie Nicks. Debbie loved her pets the most, her little dog, Griffin was always by her side, especially during her illness.

Survivors include her siblings, Jennifer Brubaker, Mitchell Thomas (Cari); nieces and nephews, Kristin Brubaker, Kyle Brubaker (Kassie), Avery Thomas, Chase Thomas; stepmother, Ann Thomas, and her beloved canine companion, Griffin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Meredith Sr. and Ethel Poole Thomas.

Services will be private.
