Davy Glenn McCormick, 70, of Chesapeake City, MD passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Born in Elkton, MD on May 20, 1955, he was the son of the late William R. McCormick Sr. and Patricia M. Hall McCormick.

Mr. McCormick worked many years before his retirement as a chemist. He was a passionate sports fan who loved football and baseball, always eager to follow his favorite teams. Mr. McCormick also enjoyed playing on the men's softball league at Pine Grove, and was big history buff, always tuning into his favorite history programs.

Survivors include his siblings; Carrie A. Kelly (Wally) and Terry L Clifton (Jeff), nieces; Nicole Kirby, Patricia Thomas and Cate Zack, and nephews; Chip McCormick and Randy Kelly.

Davy was preceded in death by his brothers, William R. McCormick and Nicky McCormick.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921 with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment with military honors will be in Elkton Cemetery.
