David Raymond "Iron" Plath, 65, of Hacks Point, MD, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022.  Formerly of Claymont, DE, he was the son of Shirley Plath and the late George Plath.

Dave retired from General Motors, Wilmington, DE where he had worked for 25 years.  He enjoyed family, friends, boating, fishing, watching the Phillies and Eagles, along with spending time at the marina close to his home in Hacks Point.

In addition to his mother, survivors include sons, Michael Plath (Amanda), and Jeremy Plath, Sr.; siblings, Sharon Palmer and Michael G. Plath (BJ) and grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Paige, James, Davion and Ryder.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 12 noon until 2 p.m., at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Deep Roots, 21 Veazey Cove Road, Earleville, MD  21919.
