David Randall Hobart, Sr., age 80, of North East, MD, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023. Born on May 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Robert John Hobart and Cora Randall Hobart.

Mr. Hobart retired after 35 years as a Master Electrician and Lineman for Delmarva Power. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, crabbing; he was a member of Union Masonic Lodge #48AF&AM, the Shriners organization, the National Rifle Association, the Elk River Rowdies, and the Maryland Waterman's Association.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Tammy Stout Hobart; his children, Dianna Vanaskey (David), Childs, MD, David Hobart, Jr., Cincinnati, OH, Cynthia McMahon, North East, MD, Kenneth Hobart (Linda Assimos), Elkton, MD, Brittany Edwards (Reid), Abingdon, MD, Alexandra Haarich (Klaus), Pasadena, MD; grandchildren, Trae, Bret, Lerine, Nathan, Avery, Teddy, Craig, Asarie; and great-grandchildren, Layton, Landon and Logan.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hobart was preceded in death by his siblings Robert Hobart, Charles Hobart, Marjorie Holland, Doris Bryan, and Nancy Dennis.

Funeral service will be held at 11:15 A.M., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M. Masonic Lodge service will be held at 11 A.M.
