Daniel Eugene Lilly, age 74, of Arlington, VA, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. Born in Hinton, WV on July 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Elijah and Mattie Craycraft Lilly.

Mr. Lilly had previously worked for Verizon as a computer programmer. He loved reading, listening to NPR radio, and gardening.

Survivors include his siblings, Ida J. Thurbon, Timonium, MD, Nancy M. Johnson, Elkton, MD, Eli H. Lilly, Havre de Grace, MD, Lois L. Guendel, Huntsville, AL, James A. Lilly, Elkton, MD, and Thomas I. Lilly, Havre de Grace, MD.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lilly was preceded in death by sisters, Reba Buckland, Patsy Lilly, and Maryland Lilly.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD  21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.
