Daniel "Danny" Keith Lantz, 77, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. Born in Elkins, WV on January 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Ward H. Lantz and Olive Yvonne Rennix Hively.

Daniel retired from Chrysler as an automotive assembler after more than 30 years of dedicated service. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and the peaceful moments it brought him. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, especially cheering for Rusty Wallace. Daniel was loved by everyone who knew him and will be remembered for his hard work, quiet strength, and the simple joys he cherished.

Survivors include his daughter, Dorinda Lantz-Reed (Gary), Lorida, FL; son, Darren W.J. Lantz (Shelley), Elkton, MD; siblings, John, Robert, and Marlene; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Bucher Lantz and sister, Dana Lantz.
