Dana Conway Shiflett, age 72 of Elkton, MD, passed away on January 17, 2023. Born in Elkton, on October 20, 1950, she was the daughter of the late J. Donald and Frances Keithley Conway.

Dana graduated from Elkton High School in 1968, and Goldey Beacom College in 1970 with an associate degree in Business Administration. Dana spent most of her career as an Administrative Assistant, beginning as a civilian employee with the US Army in Germany, and retiring from Union Hospital in Elkton.

Dana enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at their second home in Ocean City, MD. She loved preparing meals for her family and making picnic lunches to eat on the beach. Her life was built on a foundation of faith that she loved to celebrate with worship at CityLight Vineyard Church, Newark, DE, and with the Delmarva Emmaus Community, where she served as a lay director.

Dana is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, James F. Shiflett; her two children, Andrew Shiflett (Kim), Middletown, DE, and Sarah Peterson (Gary), Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Hailey and Jason Shiflett, Gideon, Asher, Ephraim, Ezra, Honor, and Shepherd Peterson; and sisters, Mary Anne Loynds, Elkton, MD, and Phyllis Fleischmann, Lancaster, PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, January 27, 2023, at The Barn Vineyard Church, 3224 Appleton Road, Landenberg, PA, where visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
