Clarissa Gay Kist, 56, of Elkton, MD passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. Born in Chesapeake City, MD on November 16, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Gillis and Dorothy Jones Hamilton.

Mrs. Kist received her master's degree and retired as a Nurse Practitioner. She enjoyed gardening, loved being in the sunshine, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Daniel Earl Kist; daughters, Jessica Peel, Newark, DE, Vanessa Kist, Elkton, MD; granddaughter, Emelia Peel; siblings, Patrick Hamilton and Dwayne Hamilton.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Five Rivers Church, 290 White Hall Road, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Elkton Cemetery.
