Obituary

Charles Anthony "Skip" Stewart, Jr., born on July 2, 1970, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Skip was born to Linda Aguayo (Cox) and the late Andrew Duren in Elkton, MD. He also shared a special bond with Charles Stewart, Sr. and recognized him as "Pops."

Skip received his education through Cecil County Public Schools. As a child, he loved sports and was athletic; he played football for the Golden Elks during high school. Skip graduated from Elkton High School with his diploma in 1988.

Skip was ornery and playful as a child and as an adult. He loved to laugh and joke around, and enjoyed cooking delicious food on the grill, oven, crockpot, you name it. He also loved to sing whatever was on his mind. Skip was the life of the party, too. He truly loved having a good time.

Skip was a son, father, grandfather, sibling, cousin, and dear friend. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Louise Cox, with whom he shared a special bond, and his biological father, Andrew Duren.

He is survived by his mother: Linda Aguayo; Linda’s husband Eduardo Aguayo, whom he called Papi; his Pops: Charles Stewart, Sr.; his daughter: Malika Stewart of Newark, DE; his sons: Charles "Skippy" Stewart III of Elkton, MD and Jayson Stewart of Newark, DE; his grandchildren: Si"Miyah Corey, Carter Stewart, baby Crue Stewart, and the newest addition, baby Pi’erre Stewart. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
