Catherine Margaret Warren, of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023. Born in Elkton, on February 11, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Nelson Birney and Margaret Mergenthaler Birney.

Catherine was a proud member of Baldwin United Methodist Church where she also taught Sunday school. She loved being with family, enjoyed bingo, and was an Intake Coordinator for Upper Bay Counseling Support Services.Survivors include her daughter, Nicole Warren; son, Eric Warren (Ally); grandchildren, Izzabella, Trinity, Mavis, and Silas; her brothers Rudolph N. Birney, Jr., Charles Birney; and sister, Rose Birney.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, March 31, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
