Carolyn Anne Cox, 80, of Elkton, MD passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. Born in Wilmington, DE on May 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William Stevenson and Elaine Halliday.

Carolyn devoted many years of her life as a customer service representative at Delmarva Power. After retirement she embraced new opportunities to enjoy life. She had a deep love for the water, particularly boating, and all the joys that came with being near it. Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed the camaraderie of her fellow members. In her spare time, she was an avid word puzzle enthusiast and loved to sew. A true movie buff, Carolyn had a passion for cinema that she shared with everyone around her. She will be missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Survivors include her sons, John Cox (Lori), North East, MD, Richard Cox, Utah, and Michael McCall (Cynthia), Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Leah, Emily, Ron, Olivia, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Luca and Jay; her brothers, Tom Cole (Cindy), Elkton, MD, and John Cole, Aberdeen, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannine Hartman.
