With heavy hearts our family shares the loss of our daughter, sister, aunt, loving family member Candee Lyn Hopkins.

Born in Elkton, MD she attended Elkton Schools and finished her education at Elon College followed with a career in the insurance industry. Candee had a gift of making her home a gathering place filled with love and warmth for her extended family. She loved decorating her home, enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.

Candee's greatest love was her family, and she showed it through her generosity, thoughtful gifts, small acts of kindness and opening her home on many special occasions.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank E. Hopkins, grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Survivors are her mother, Nancy L. Hopkins, siblings, Kenneth E. Hopkins, Frank Todd Hopkins, (Michele), Gordon K. Hopkins, (Michele), many nieces and nephews plus her pride and joy puppies, Ellie, a goldendoodle and Phoebe, a shichon.

Her family takes comfort in knowing her spirit lives on in all the people's lives she touched, all the kindness and love she spread.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Chesapeake City, MD.
