Boyd Gerald Miller Jr., 73, of North East, MD passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Born in Clearfield, PA on July 22, 1951, he was the son of the late Boyd Sr. and Mary Haag Miller.

Boyd was a proud U.S. Veteran who served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Later, he continued his military commitment as a Petty Officer 1st Class E6 in the Naval and Marine Reserves, demonstrating his lifelong dedication to serving his country. After his military service, Boyd enjoyed a successful career in the trucking industry, spending 25 years as a boat hauler. Outside of work, he lived life to the fullest. He had a love for motorcycles, enjoying the freedom of the open road whenever he could. Boyd's enthusiasm for life extended to his unwavering loyalty as a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, never missing a chance to cheer on his team.

Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Marie Bodsford Miller; children, Boyd Miller III, New Jersey, Stephen Cebula Jr. (Caroline), Elkton, MD, Keith Cebula (Melanie), North East, MD, Jacqueline Balaguer (Richard Gumpert), Bonita Springs, FL, and Joseph Balaguer, North East, MD; 5 grandchildren; and his sister, Pam Lister, Raleigh, NC.

Funeral service with Military Honors will be held 9 AM, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North East VFW Post 6027 at 815 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD 21901.
