Bonnie Sue Maxey, age 72, of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021. Born in Oak Hill, WV, on September 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Basil T. and Helen Sheaves Bolt.

Mrs. Maxey was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed bingo, attending yard sales, Elvis, and her cat Snuggles.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Kelley R. Maxey, Jr.; children, Kelly A. Blair (Charles), and Jeffrey T. Maxey (Candice), both of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Daniel Feeley, Jeremy Feeley, Austin Blair, Autumn Blair, Jeffrey Maxey, Jr., and Noah Maxey; great-granddaughter, Cecilia Feeley; and sisters, Betty J. Gravely, and Sharon Buchanan, both of Newark, DE.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maxey was preceded in death by her siblings, William Bolt and Willa Pack.

Services are private and will be held at a later date.
