Bonita Beatrice Pierson, age 74, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Born in Baltimore, MD, on August 10, 1948, she was the daughter of Beatrice Mullahey Lynch, and the late Henry Lynch.

A homemaker, Mrs. Pierson was a loving wife and mother who took pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed working on arts and crafts and found that ceramics was one of her favorite things to do.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Alexis L. "Butch" Pierson, sons, Henry Pierson (Jamie), Rising Sun, MD, Brian Pierson (Donna), Bear, DE, and Jeffrey Pierson, Elkridge, MD; granddaughters, Jessica Pippin Pierson, North East, MD, and Destiny Pierson, Bear, DE; and brother, Dennis Lynch, Baldwin, MD.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Logan.

Graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022, at Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
