Beverly Ann Mahoney, 87, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Born in Elkton on May 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Broadwater and Mary Baker Perkins.

Beverly dedicated her life to her family, creating a warm and loving home for those she cherished. She always ensured that her family was cared for and surrounded by love. Beverly's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating bonds to cherish for a lifetime. Outside of family life, Beverly had a passion for travel. She enjoyed exploring new places and making lasting memories through her adventures. She was also an avid reader and puzzle enthusiast, immersing herself in books and challenging her mind with puzzles—activities that allowed her to unwind and engage her curiosity. Beverly will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Michael Mahoney (Lauren), Mark Mahoney (Vivian), and Karen Handy (Mike), all of Elkton, MD; daughter-in-law, Judy Mahoney, Elkton, MD; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Tish McCormick (Tom), North Liberty, IN; and sister-in-law, Dea Broadwater, Elkton, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Mahoney; her son, Richard R. "Dickie" Mahoney; and her brother, C. Duane Broadwater.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 11, 2025 at Union Church, 440 Union Church Road, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
