Betty Jane Williams, 91, of North East, MD passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Born in South Fork, PA on July 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Pearl Spencer Younker.

Betty devoted many years of her life to helping others as a home health aide before her well-earned retirement. In her personal life, she found joy in many things. She was an avid reader, always with her Bible close by, and she loved attending church. Betty also had a creative side and loved bedazzling, adding sparkle and shine to everyday items. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She played an integral role in raising them, imparting wisdom, love, and faith. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

Survivors include her children, Shirley Buzzetti, Reno, NV, Thomas Williams, Elkton, MD, and Doris Morris (Henry), North East, MD; grandchildren, Chris, Amanda, and April; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Marie Ames, Central City, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Williams Sr.; her son, Harold Williams Jr.; and her 14 other siblings.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
