Betty Lou Osborne, age 93, of Elkton, MD, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022. Born in Pulaski, VA, on June 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Flona Hughes Honaker.

Mrs. Osborne retired after many years of following her dreams as a self-employed cosmetologist. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, and she enjoyed doing word search puzzles.

Survivors include her sons, Ira "Rocky" Osborne, Jr., Lancaster, CA, and Don Osborne, Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Darryl and Anthony Osborne; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Ashton, and Dylan Osborne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Ira Osborne, Sr., and all of her siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 West Stockton Street, Elkton, MD. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
