Benjamin "Ben" Anthony Zimmerman, 40, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Born in Baltimore, MD on May 11, 1985, he was preceded in death by his parents.

Ben worked in food management at Freddy's in Middletown, DE where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly spirit. He found happiness in traveling to new places, exploring the outdoors, and spending time in nature. Ben also had a passion for cooking, often bringing people together through good food and shared moments.

Survivors include his loving girlfriend; Michele Dowdell, a brother, sister, niece, nephew and step-grandson, Nicholas who was like a son to him and two dogs; Squirt and Richy.

A private funeral service and interment will be held.
