Beatrice Jean Kelly, 78, of Elkton, MD passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Born in Wilmington, DE on November 21, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Lora Belle Browning Dawson.

Beatrice retired after many years of dedicated service as a secretary for the Delaware Family Court. Throughout her life, she embraced creativity and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including ceramics, sewing, and crafting. A lover of adventure and family, Beatrice had a special fondness for visiting Walt Disney World, where she created treasured memories with her loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherished moments.

Survivors include her daughters, Christine Kelly (Ed), and Karen Kist (Dave), both of Elkton, MD; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and 1 great-granddaughter expected in June.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Millard Dawson III and Benjamin Dawson.

All services will be private.
