Barbara Jane Schneiders-Todd, age 85, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, May 2, 2022. Born in Elkton on November 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Wallace W. and Dessie A. Johnston Jones.

Mrs. Schneiders-Todd was a local entrepreneur who owned Firestone and South Bridge Street Liquors, Elkton. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them swim, playing bingo, and shopping.

Survivors include her son, Albert V. "Albie" Schneiders (Colleen), Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Michael (Kristin), Tanya (Erik), Kevin (Bridget), Stephen (Becky), Missy, Jessica (Mark), Erica (Jason), Chad (Amy), Ryan, Cory, Brooke, and Nicholas; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert V. Schneiders and James O. Todd; children, Robin Schneiders White and Steven J. Schneiders; and siblings, John L. Jones and Wallace W. Jones, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
