Attelia Ann Thompson, 94, of Lewes, DE, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Lenita Daub Achard. She married David Thompson in 1952.

Ann spread her light in so many ways: as a devoted daughter, life-partner for Dave, loving mother, and sweet Grammie to her grandchildren. She volunteered her time for church and school activities and served as Chief Financial Officer for an engineering firm. In addition to raising her family, Ann's proudest accomplishments included pioneering the use of PC spreadsheets to track complex accounting processes and learning to windsurf in her 50's.

Survivors include her children, Holly Thompson, Mardi Thompson, Craig Thompson, and Keith Thompson; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Thompson.

Graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 2015 Old Elk Neck Road, North East, MD 21901.
