Ariel Ivy Kuriga, 27, of Elkton, MD passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born in Dix Hills, NY on June 5, 1997, she was the daughter of Wayne and Tracey Bartilucci Kuriga, Elkton, MD.

Ariel enjoyed spending time outside, whether it was exploring nature or just relaxing in the fresh air. She was a naturally creative person, with a love for drawing, painting, and photography, often using these as ways to express herself. She also had a passion for baking, music, and movies, always finding ways to add a little extra joy and light to life through her creativity. Though Ariel could be sensitive, she was also feisty and fun-loving. She had a rebellious side and a quiet, shy nature, making her someone who was always interesting to be around. Ariel had a deep love for animals, especially cats. She loved going to concerts with her sisters, where they made wonderful memories together. She was a Bayside cult member (if you know, you know).

In addition to her parents, survivors include her children, Alice Kuriga and Lilly Kuriga; her siblings, Jennifer Jacobs (Wesley), Carlisle, PA, Ashley Kuriga (fiancé, Justin Judge), Woodlyn, PA, Alaura Newlin (Tyler), Elkton, MD; niece, Willow; and nephews, Taran and Jack.

She was cherished and loved by her family. She will be deeply missed.
