Anna Catherine Simmons, 77, of Charlestown, MD passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Born in Warwick, MD on June 10, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James Martin and Rose Anna Bowman Dill.

Mrs. Simmons was retired from RMR Corporation, where she worked for many years as a line worker. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Mrs. Simmons was also a proud member of the Recycled Teenage Cruisers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Daniel Robert Simmons; children, Tammy Hamilton (Kenneth), North East, MD and Michael Duff, Chesapeake City, MD; grandchildren; Michael and Jason Duff, and Kenneth D. Hamilton, and siblings, Patricia Coleman, Middletown, DE, James Dill, Saint Joseph, MO, Darlene Price, Smyrna, DE, Frances Armstrong, Cecilton, MD, and Rose Bowers, New Castle, DE.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a butterfly bush to be planted in Mrs. Simmons' memory.
