Ann Sellers, 85, of Newark, DE passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Born in Wilmington, DE on August 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Florence Clay Biddle.

Ann had worked as a waitress for 15 years and attended church at First Baptist of Elkton. She had a talent for crocheting, enjoyed flower gardening and bowling with friends. Ann's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and family and cherished every moment spent with them.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Verrechia (Joe), Newark, DE, David Irwin (Lori), Homosassa, FL, Pat Strong, Elkton, MD, Kathy Phipps, Warrensville, NC, Lisa Bennett (Mark), Newark, DE, Tina Riale (Buddy), Rising Sun, MD, Vicki Toler (Wade), Sage, AR, Jimmy Sellers, Jr., Rising Sun, MD; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and brother Henry Biddle (Kathy), Salisbury, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 15 years, James Sellers; brothers, William, Emerson, and Arthur Biddle; and son-in-law, Jim Strong.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, April 29, 2024 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Sharps Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
